Alpine, produsen mobil sport ternama dari Renault, mulai memasuki pasar mobil crossover dengan keseriusan yang luar biasa. Mereka siap untuk merilis mobil tinggi pertama mereka yang dinamai Alpine A390 pada tanggal 27 Mei mendatang. Meski masih berupa prototipe yang tengah menjalani uji coba di Lapland, mobil ini telah menarik perhatian banyak orang.
Alpine A390 memiliki ukuran sedikit lebih kecil dari Porsche Macan EV, namun kedua mobil ini akan bersaing ketat karena memiliki beberapa kesamaan dalam desain. Meskipun pada siaran pers disebut sebagai “sport fastback” tanpa kategori crossover atau SUV, namun desain mobil ini menarik perhatian dengan dek belakang yang mirip sedan dan kaca belakang yang miring.
Meski masih terdapat sedikit kamuflase pada prototipe yang terlihat dalam foto-foto, namun keseluruhan bentuk dan detail mobil ini nampak jelas. Lampu depan dan elemen aerodinamis seperti “bilah” depan memberikan sentuhan yang elegan, terinspirasi dari desain Polestar 3 dan Dodge Charger Daytona EV yang sebelumnya pernah diluncurkan.
Alpine belum menunjukkan secara detail bagian interior dari A390, namun setir yang telah ditampilkan memberikan petunjuk akan keseriusan mereka dalam menciptakan mobil berkualitas tinggi. Diperkirakan mobil ini akan menggunakan konfigurasi tri-motor dan penggerak semua roda, serta fitur-fitur menarik seperti vektor torsi untuk memaksimalkan performa.
Dibangun di atas platform AmpR Medium yang sama dengan Nissan Ariya dan mobil listrik Renault E-Tech, Alpine A390 akan menjadi pilihan yang menarik di segmen mobil tinggi performa. Expected to feature a tri-motor configuration and all-wheel drive system, the Alpine A390 is said to emphasize torque vectoring among its features – allowing for precise torque distribution across its rear wheels, enhancing its handling capabilities in various driving conditions.
Built on the same AmpR Medium platform as the Nissan Ariya and the Renault E-Tech electric models, the Alpine A390 is expected to boast remarkable power output and cutting-edge battery technology. With plans for global expansion in the works, Alpine aims to reach the US market by 2027, offering a lineup that caters to performance-oriented crossover enthusiasts worldwide. In addition to the A390, Alpine has announced intentions to introduce a four-seater sports car named the A310, built on the shared Renault-Nissan platform.
